We had a great experience with Modern, right from the time we made initial contact a few years ago through to the recent completion of the project. Admittedly the weather was in our favour, but they finished a significant 2nd storey addition very quickly. We decided to stay in the house during the build with our 3 kids (including a newborn). The whole team worked around us, the trades were polite and considerate, not to mention that their attention to detail and level of workmanship could not be faulted. With any renovation, there were always going to be a few issues which came up, but these were all quickly and professionally dealt with. We can’t wait to start enjoying our new space and would happily work with Bruce and his team again. ~ Meghan W
Sertorio has renovated and existing garage and added a bedroom and bathroom to provide us with a beautiful “Granny flat”. Scott consulted and drew up the plans and was professional, answered every phone call and email and has a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the building industry. Phil was the best ever site supervisor, nothing escapes his eagle eye and the finish product is just truly amazing! They were on time with everything. Their contractors were friendly, accommodating and rendered the highest standard of work. Even Jasmine in the office was always ready to assist with our every payment and paperwork needs. Over the moon with the result. We added 80 sqm to our house in Craigie. Bruce was great from the start, showing us what would and wouldn't work with our plans. Bruce actually had his designer redo our plans which added items we hadn't even thought of. The building process was smooth as can be expected in the current market. Every trade performed work of a high quality and the finish is excellent. Our Project Manager Phil was able to sort most issues out promptly. Highly recommend these builders for your extension work. The fact trades have worked for them for over 20 years is a testament to their professionalism. We are very impressed with the final result and would recommend Sertorio to anyone considering an extension. ~ Michael
